Begin with the payout.

Your payout tells you what was paid to you. It can include trip pay, tips and adjustments. It is a useful starting point, but it does not by itself tell you what the work cost or what remains after tax.

Compare like with like.

A complete month and a month still in progress are different periods. So are a typical trip and an average trip. Look at the date range and the label before deciding whether one period was better than another.

Keep the missing pieces visible.

Costs, mileage and time all matter, but only when the underlying records support the calculation. An incomplete figure should stay incomplete. Kerbi’s Insights design makes the distinction between confirmed payouts and figures that still need checking.

Use patterns as a starting point.

A stronger recorded time window or pickup area can suggest something to explore. It does not promise the same result next week. Check how much history sits behind the pattern and whether the work is comparable to what you plan to do.
